Idera CDP Server Backups
If you have a Dedicated Server or VPS with us, as we do not have access to your server's data once it is setup, you will need to ensure that you properly back up all of your data. This can be done in any way that you choose, but for an extra cost we can provide you with the software and off-site storage space to do this.

Idera (formerly r1soft) CDP Server Enterprise will allow you to take backups (on a schedule of your choosing) of the complete server, and you can choose how many past backups to keep. All backups are compressed, and only data that has changed is stored, to ensure that you make the most of the backup space avaialble to you. You can choose to exclude directories, so that (for example) you do not need to waste space backing up the Windows installation if you only want to backup your own data. Our backup server is in a different part of the UK (Maidenhead) to our main UK network, to provide geographical redundancy. You will receive a login to the web interface that allows you to configure your backups, check their status and to perform restores.

The software is licenced per server at a cost of £10 per month. The cost for the space depends on the amount ordered. We can quote for any amount that you need (simply contact sales), but some example rates are: £20pm (£200pa) for 20gb disk space, £40pm (£400pa for 50gb disk space and £75pm (£750pa) for 100gb disk space.
